MAT PILATES

OUR MATWORK CLASSES ARE FUN & DYNAMIC

These classes are scaled to cater for all different fitness levels, there will always be an easier modification for those that are new to pilates or one might need to modify the exercise from a postural point of view. We will be there to assist and correct you if need be to make sure you are getting the most benefit from the exercises.

This is a great way to develop strength and endurance through the body, especially the core and lumbo-pelvic region. We challenge movement in all planes to ensure that your muscles are lengthening and toning three dimensionally.

Using your own bodyweight on the mat or the addition of props makes matwork one of the most challenging classes, we use props to help facilitate a movement or increase the challenge of the exercises.

Props used during classes: weights, mini-flex balls, arc barrels, booty bands, fitness circles, flex bands, foam rollers, sliding discs, stability balls, stability cushions, toning balls.

 NB If you have any injuries it is advisable to start with our intro package.

Barre class for burning calories

GROUP BARRE

THIS IS A GREAT CALORIE-BURNING, FUN CLASS WITH THE USE OF MUSIC

 Challenge your balance, strength and endurance as our instructors lead you through flowing, choreographed sequences that targets your whole body, keeping your heart rate elevated and your body burning calories. This high intensity cardio class can burn up to 600 calories per class, The added use of weight’s and other props will also help tone and condition your body.

Our barre classes are a combination of aerobic dance, Pilates, weights and yoga. You will leave feeling stronger, energised and flexible.

We use a variety of props to help guarantee a results driven workout.

 NB If you have any injuries it is advisable to start with our intro package.

Pilates Elevate is a faster paced class

PILATES ELEVATE

PILATES Elevate is an intermediate level, faster-paced class that challenges your whole body.

PILATES Elevate is a strength based class using spring resistance equipment, bodyweight and various props to help elevate your heart rate and keep the workouts fun and challenging.

A great way to fast track toned lean muscles!

Equipment used: Reformers, Stability Chairs, Cadillac, Barrels and much much more!

NB you cant have any injuries when signing up for this class.

PILATES MAINTENANCE

These are specialised classes catering for your individual needs, whether its prehab, rehab or maintaining your strength and ability. Let our highly experienced instructors take care of your needs.

This class is a great way to get more individual attention and access to exercises specifically modified for your postural or specific goals.

A WARM AND LOVING SPACE TO EXPLORE YOUR CHANGING BODY AND PREPARING YOUR BODY FOR CHILD BIRTH AND POST PREGNANCY

We use modifications suited for every stage of pregnancy and incorporate props to support your changing body, you will get the full benefits of Pilates exercise’s while keeping you and your baby safe.

Remain safely active in our specially created small groups adapting to your energy levels and shifting your centre of gravity.

We help you prepare for the demands of labour by focussing on pelvic floor muscles contracting and releasing through different ranges and building strength where you will need it most during pregnancy and post birth.

Perfect for those who want work on specific goals or prefer to workout one to one

Bespoke training tailored to your specific needs and goals using expertly devised workout plans including pilates, hiit, agility & weight training.  We work with you to achieve your goals.

YOUR FIRST CLASS

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your first class so that we can familiarise you with the studio and the equipment.

Bring along a pair of Pilates socks, or purchase in Studio

Please wear workout gear that is comfortable to move around in. We recommend a tank top or T-shirt and form fitting leggings or shorts.

Stay hydrated! Be sure to drink water before, during and after your class to stay hydrated.
